Here is a song (click to play) that we were recommended to learn to calm the baby down. It is a very common lullaby in China that everyone knows. The concern is that if Dino and I attempt to sing it to the child she may be scarred for life.
Here is a translation:
In all the world only Mama is good.
With a mama, you are like a treasure.

It is distressing without a mama.
Without a mama you are like a piece of grass.
Away from mama's embrace,

I live in China (but am currently emailing you from Spokane, WA) and have developed www.chineseforparents.com for families who are getting ready to travel.
